Okay, I give up, how do I get a non-physical object to move more than 10 metres in one direction? Is there something fancy I need to do with llSetPos or have I ended up at the wrong tree?

Limited to moving no more than 10m per call in any direction. If the distance is more than 10m, the object will move in the direction of the specified position, but will stop after 10m.

Refer to wiki page & the links on it for further ideas: http://rpgstats.com/wiki/index.php?title=LlSetPos

One solution using llSetPos() is to place it in a loop although following thro' on the wiki will point you to other solutions as well :)

Also have a look at the WarpPos script in the wiki library. It's very fast and allows up to 1000m of movement (ofcourse you can loop for more):
