Question about links and permissions

Hi there,

I understand from the Wiki that if you wish to use llBreakLink, you must request permissions from the owner for PERMISSION_CHANGE_LINKS first.

My question is this...

If I create a scripted object that I want the user to be able to rez as one big linked object, and then on rez...I want the object to be able to break certain links....

Is this possible to do without having the link-permissions dialogue box pop up on the end user?

No.

But you could take the object (split up), into your inventory at once, and it will already be split up when you rez it.
