Stream Radio and Video sound on channel

Hi,

can somone thelp me, how do i set a stream land radio to play sound on channel # so it can be played by speakers on other land near by....

and can this be done for video stream too?

no audio and video play when your standing on land that has the links set
in the land properties that point to the files. unless you join the land and share
properties you cant do this.

You could have a script running that broadcasts the new URL's when ever they change to the adjacent (or not) land plots and then have a receiver script running that will listen for the change and change its own media stream to match.

no what i'm trying to do is have a land radio i own play on a set channel so some speakers can pick up the radio, for surround sound, so far I have it so it'll play wav's but want to stream audio in the speakers

As Lightwave stated that is not how audio or video works.
You can get play a sound (wav) file that way but not a stream.

I think he wants to have surround sound on his land by having a virtual stereo broadcast on different channels to speakers.

From what I gather the only option is 3d sound using a mono stream. When you set your parcel music be standing at the place or put your media player in the spot you want to be center.

What is the SOURCE of the music?
Is it a live web radio station?
Or is it small files that you will upload and save in SL and then play--like sound effects, for example?
