here's what i am lookin for...

i have two rooms, next door to eachother, seperated by a wall.

I want people in room one, to see a wall.
I want people in room two, to see INTO the other room, through the same wall, without using camera control.

Think of it as a one way mirror, instead of mirror. its just a wall.

Is there any way to manipulate the texture of a wall, based on the observer of the prim?
or can a hud worn modify your visible texture? Or, can i just make the wall be invisible for some avatars, while others see the wall?

thanks

All you really need to do is set the alpha (llSetAlpha) of the seethru side to 0.0, and the alpha of the solid side to 1.0. On a box, only the outside is solid. So, the people with the 1.0 wall cant see thru object, but the people with the 0.0 wall can see all the way thru.
