Script for periodically check/change land name

I also asked my main question in the residents forum, but I ask it here again specifically meant for the script question:

I have some punctuation in my land name that for some days now keeps disappearing. Is there a way to automatically and periodically check and, if needed, change a land name with a script? Or just 'change' the land name periodically, using the same name to ensure that it stays correct.

Can it be done with a script, and if so, what commands should I be looking for?

hehe, The Lindens are probably removing it for good reason...

Apostrophes can pose a problem for data bases.
