We have 1-prim objects placed all over the metaverse. They have 1 simple script that pops up a notecard. Some are owned by the landowners and some still are owned by me.

Is there a way to either have these objects notify me that they are still there OR for me to query them to see if they respond (indicating they are still there).

Today, I will on occasion to out and make sure they are there but as the #'s grow its getting to be a hassle.

Now that they're already out in the wild? No.

Now that they're already out in the wild? No. Just as well, notecard popping up things are annoying.

annoying? well I would agree but they aren't in this case. only geocachers and landowners know where these objects (aka "caches";) are placed and the notecards are key to the sport.
The average resident doesn't usually see them even though they are right under their noses.

thanks for the answer...bummer.

You're quick...beat me to the edit. Ok, geocaching is neat.

next time you check on them, you can drop a second script in each that will do what you want.

of course, someone has to write the script.
