I'm getting public feedback on the need from scripters for services.
It seems there are a lot of LSL scripters who are only vaguely familiar with backend scripting like PHP and perl, or have no knowledge of this at all.
Additionally, it seems there a lot of ideas floating around that would make great use of a backend database but since this is something else they don't have knowledge of, these ideas die on the vine.
If you are a scripter, and you think you could use a service that would provide hosting for your backend scripts, plus having someone custom-create your scripts for you, along with a database backend, all offered for a very low monthly fee with few limitations, please answer with that.
If this is something that you don't think you would have a use for, answer that way.
If you have specific questions that go beyond the very brief description I put here, please followup with those comments in this thread.
If you have any other questions, feel free to IM me or email me at geuis.teses@gmail.com.
Thanks muchly,
Geuis Dassin

This service is indeed very useful, and necessary for certain types of projects, but personally, I won't be needing it, as I have recently acquired webhosting and a PHP book.
I'm certain other people will be willing to pay for it-- if the fee is not too great.

I'm one of the rare-few that has my own hosted Linux server AND codes in LAMP on a daily basis.
If you are to make a business out of this I wish you well in making it work, it sounds like a great idea. Just make sure you have account restrictions so the users cannot grab data from each others databases. You might consider using phpMyAdmin as well to let them have direct access to their databases as well.
Good luck with it!
