I'm currently working on a project and have an item where I want to have tabs. When the tabs are touched they expand out to show the information they contain. Currently looking to have this attached to a HUD point and was curious if there was a way to do it. I know you can do it as a nonattchment but was unsure of the effect it would have on an attachment point.

As of 1.7, you can move and rotate attachments in the same manner as you can unattached prims. It is, as they say, VERY COOL! :)

Is there a specific command or commands I need to look into to do this? OMG something tells me I'm gonna be making a prim HUD attachment that is gonna max a sim prim allotment if rezzed. LOL Also could you make it so that you had a second slider item coming off the first? Kind like this:

"at rest" or stationary item
[]

First slide
===[]

Second slide

Prim allotment doesn't count attachments, but be careful they still can lag the sim (though on HUD attachements it won't lag those around you unless the scripts are creating the lag)

I know Rodrick I was reffering to actually placing the item on the ground. :) I came up with an intersting idea and am amazed someone else has not thought of it. I won't mention it here as frankly I want this to be my first creation (or second) and really want it to be a good one. Might incoporate sliding prims or might not. Still working out a few bugs with prim size/text, etc.
