Second Life - Showing A Quicktime Movie

Hi There - when I am showing a movie in second life ( Quicktime ) the movie is dispalyed on several "other objects" such as the wall, and other prims.

Is there a way to have the movie show up only on the texture I am placing it on? It seems related to the texture itself - that I am somehow changing the texture of all of the items themselves with the movie.

Yeah you're halfway there. The way SL video works is it replaces a particular texture, chosen by the parcel owner, with the video stream. So you need to use that texture ONLY where you want the video to play, and NOWHERE ELSE. Or specify a different texture in About Land, Media, and ONLY use that texture on your video screen.
