OK time to pick everyone elses brains for a change I wrote a script a while back, several months ago at least, that has recently had to be recompiled due to some minor changes and bug fixes. Now the animations used have not changed and yet the recompiled script plays the animation differently to the original. Anyone?

Sorry Should have elaborated slightly.
The arms of the avatar in the 'working' version are straight out from the shoulders yet in the recompiled version they rise only to about 45 degrees.
I did a second test, just recompiled the script, no changes to the actual code apart from adding a blank line and it was still broken.
I dont have access to SL now but will post some screen shots when I get the chance.
EDIT: I did try drawing some stick men but didnt work so heres my artistic impression....

Aside from the arms being wrong, does the animation seem correct?

Yes, or at least it 'catches up' I'd have to get Artemis to chime in here as its her animations, but I think the first few animation frames are wrong and after that it sorts itself out.

Is this an issue with the Key frame of the animation, which is normal to have the feet shoulder width apart and arms sticking straigh out (Poser etc).
so in order to get the Avatar arms to move to staright out postion you would need to change the key frame or set the 2nd frame (1st in animation) so that the arms are sticking straight up thus giving a 90 degree movement from the default pose!
You did say they worked before so probaly not the problem! just chipping in.
