I picked up some pose balls but they wouldn't hide. I told the person I got them from and he sent me a script that said, hide_show to put into these balls. I did just that but only the blue ball hides, the red one does not. He said to put the script into the red ball but it was already in there because I had already put it into the blue one. Again it didn't work. I took it out and put it in again like he said and nothing.
So, how can I get both balls to hide instead of just one? Seems all the pose ball from this person does this. And although he works with scripts he seems not to know too much about them.
Any suggestions, please?

From: Ricardo Harris He said to put the script into the red ball but it was already in there because I had already put it into the blue one. Are you sure you have the script in each of the balls? By default, when you edit a linked set of prims it will show you the contents of only the Root Prim. To edit the contents of each individual prim you need to check the 'Edit Linked Parts' option and then select each ball in turn. What scripts are where can be quite deceptive.

I doubled, I tripled checked. The scripts are in both balls. Not only that but when I put the script in the blue ball, I checked to do the same in the red ball but the script was there already. I assumed once you put it in one ball the other one gets it automatically.
But I added the script a second time to the red ball even though it already was there and it still doesn't not hide when given the command. Only the blue ball hides.
I contacted the guy who sold it to me but for some reason he does not understand what I'm telling him the problem is, although I've explained it as clearly and simple as I have here.
Thanks for helping out.

Looks to me either you hadn't or for some reason (such as massive lag) 'Edit Linked Parts' is borked I contacted the guy who sold it to me but for some reason he does not understand what I'm telling him the problem is, although I've explained it as clearly and simple as I have here. I assumed once you put it in one ball the other one gets it automatically. That is absolutely not the case. Again, I can only suggest that you make sure the 'Edit Linked Parts' option is checked. Or, to be really, really, sure... unlink the two balls, check them separately and then relink them.
