I recently received a request to provide a non-mono version of one my scripts. The requester claimed that the sim he was on did not support mono.
As English was not his first language, it was hard to get further information from him, so I gave him a replacement script and he went off happy.
Has anyone else heard of a sim that doesn't support mono, or was he just confused?

As far as I know, all the sims support Mono now...
I'm not entirely sure though. Sorry if I'm not much help ^^;

Yep. Except for maybe one or two sims on the beta grid and maybe some internal LL test grid sims, it's all mono now.

full mono support on the main grid.
no clue about other grids, may not always fully work on opensource grids.
