i got my answer, its not allowed
*if you own the parcel you have the texture already, otherwise you dont have the permissions.

Only if you own a sim you can change ground texture.

It depends by what you mean. If you want the ground texture, just copy it from your cache. If you want the image as it appears on your minimap, that is also possible.

it's available through new search, and while you can get it by parsing the html request for that search page for the uuid, this is considered theft by LL... but if you do the same thing via parcel media controls (capturing the image, not the uuid) that's ok.... a bit confusing, but that's the way it works
