Looking for a specific script

Greetings all!

I am a member of the Jedi Alliance Acadamy (yes, there are jedi in SL) and i need a certain script, somewhat a fighting script, lemme explain. We train constantly with lightsabers, of course, and 100% of the time were fighting with push. Now, in a normal battle, push really isnt as important as hurting your enemy. We currently have no means to fight useing health in the matter. I've suggested sectioning off a part of the sim we will be useing soon but it wouldn't work for we built up, so places that arnt fighting areas would be fighting areas, so that wouldn't work out. I've faught in many places and for me to use an example of what im looking for i'll use one example. In the sim Oblivion they have a battle arena, there they have arm bands that measure the person's health during combat. I've tried to contact the owner and she informed me they cost 10k (ouch) and come with a sword and shield which we really dont need. It also has anims that interfere with our lightsaber anims for attacking.

So, time for me to get to the point. I'm looking for a script that measures one's health and reads when one is hit with damage. Simple I suppose, but considering I am completly clueless when it comes to scripting and the only person I know to contact can't really help in this situation I'm asking the community here. I'll be more then happy to pay (if the price is fair of course) and if there are any questions about what im looking for i'll gladly answer.

This sounds like an interesting project. Were you wanting to use "SL Life" or a separate life system?... I am usually in game after 5pst if you want to drop me a line in game. I wouldnt mind hearing more about what you were lookin for.
