There's a bug on aditi that will kill millions upon millions of scripts. But I'm not going to report it or tell you what it is.

Why? Because I'm sick of reporting idiot bugs that should not have been created, and even more sick of reporting more subtle but important bugs that affect my products but that don't (ever) get fixed.

I therefore think it will be good karma for LL to fail publicly and often until they get their technical act together.

While I totally understand the sentiment at work here, you and I both know that it's not going to be LL that suffers the most :-(

You're half way there Lear... the point was to be purposely juvenile to highlight what seems to be purposely juvenile behavior by LL.

sometimes the lowest common denominator really is the only way to communicate effectively (although in this case I think one party is selectively deaf)

Everyone makes mistakes. I consider behaving like a juvenile a mistake, unless you ARE a juvenile.

BTW, I made my post before I'd seen the ref to the JIRA entry, which made the thread considerably less pointless. (Forgot to hit "reload" before responding to a window which had been open behind others for a while.) The OP was silly, but the follow up corrected it.
