Can one object push another object (not avatar) and if so, some example code would be nice thanks??

I think both prims would have to physical but if you going to link them then you can't do more then if I rember right 31 prims. a physical prim will move a physical prim but you would have to set one to force amount. Don't quote me on the force amount I have only seen it used in push guns. "Physical Prims = LAG!!"

only if the second object (the one being pushed) is physical. any object using physical motion will work, by it a physical ball you manipulated with a grab, llMoveToTarget or, a vehicle. examples of all those are available easily.
