MLP - multi-love-pose V1.2

i got a big problem, im using alot of beds in close proximity of each other for my rentals,

basically when i operate the menu the poseballs work fine on a bed i wasnt trying to use.
and the bed i was using... the poseballs are nowhere nearby not in thier correct positions - i think they all try to goto one destination.

i guess all the beds are listening all the time, regardless if i touched for the menu or not ?

--

the weird thing is that i dont understand, i experimented with two different bed types even tho they use the same script, when controlling the bed. only the one type was affected.

ill take another look at the code to compare it, but im sure its exactly the same ive never edited anything in the past. and i doubt the objectname itself plays any role because i tried renaming each bed aswell.

-------------------

can anybody help me with a quick fix its quite important, i dont know what to change
i see the poseballs use channel 0-1

integer ch = 0; //pose1: ch=0 //pose2: ch=1

i dunno about the menu

please help

-----
i think simply reseting all scripts after object was renamed may have helped, havent tested enough yet to see any problems

This is a bug with MLP 1.2.

Whenever you rez a bed, reset it using the MLP menu (or you can Tools -> Reset scripts in selection).

The problem is that it doesn't recalculate the menu channel (which is based on the object's key) on rez.

This problem only happens for copiable items, and only for items copied from the same original, but not reset.

This is fixed in MLPV2, but if MLP has all the feature you want you're fine sticking with it.

it fixed the problem but thiers still a issue,

im guessing nearby beds are also rezzing poseballs, because im using more prims than expected.

if i press "stop" on the menu, then it free`s up like 8 prims, so thiers obviusly another problem i need to fix.

anybody offer more advice ??????

I suspect there are beds you didn't reset.

well i dont usually make mistakes but if i did forget to reset any,
------

i rez a new one, reset all scripts in selection.
operate the menu

and once again use more than 2 prims.

so surely that cant be the problem.

------

is it easy to upgrade to the new mlp version, it seems confusing and has no anims with the package, can i just use all my old config cards for the menu etc hmm

It's pretty straightforward to upgrade to the new MLP, or at least I found it so. There is a very helpful tutorial at http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/MLPV2_Tutorial.

Interesting -- I can't account for that at all. It would be interesting to see where they come from. I believe the source would have to be within a 20M radius.

In your item, delete .readme, ~ball, and all the MLP scripts. Drag .readme, ~ball, and scripts from the distribution.
