Hello.
I know, there is no way to create a walkman or something else to hear predefined web radio streams. But what about to START and STOP the lands audio stream (not for all people, but for the owner of the walkman)? Is it possible?

You could buy a radio from Evolving Images to do just that. (yes its a plug)

Or you could look through lslwiki.org for llSetParcelMusicURL.

Can't you just click the little button next to the music volume to turn it off?...

Other than that you can't really mess with parcel land music unless you own it or are running the stream feeding to it.

Yeah but i'm searching for ideas for a new prim "media player"... What functions would be nice for such a device?

Most players have start/stop buttons, also, to allow more than the land owner access one can deed the land to the group, and then create roles which allow modification to land media settings.
