Good Day, Is there a method of writing text to a Prim say a note board and then geting a event of a Item is clicked?
I was thinking of listing a set of Instructions and then clickable objects linked to events
regards

regards A couple of different ways. The 'low cost' option (in terms or building effort) is to use llSetText to display the standard floating text you often see. The seconds way would be to use XYText, or something similar, to build a message board. (Winter has built a nice message board) In each case you could position prim to act as the button next to the text. A script in the button would then respond when clicked/touched.

actualy, in the case of XyText, your touch control can live right in the text prims. if you use link messages it gets even easier, since each "line" of xytext shares the same numeric value in it's object name, you can use that as teh link message body, thus each line of text can correspond to a list index.
