Compiling Memory Errors

I have several large scripts I have been writing and was wondering if anyone has noticed that you have more memory for a script when it is in an object than in your inventory?

I get a memory full error when I compile the script in my inventory yet when it is in an object it compiles fine.

Any thoughts as to why there is this limitation on scripts in inventory?

When you compile from inventory the script is NOT compiled in MONO.
When you do it in an object, MONO is default.
That makes a difference:)
