Anti-Cage Gun scripts?

Flat out, I wonder. Are their any anti-cage gun scripts or not. Some object to help you get out of a cage. It seems to me some of the really fancy chages are near impossable to get out of. If you try to sit on it, the action is blocked. Sitting on a near by object, and it still sticks to you. Trying to teleport or relog, and it finds you and re-attaches. Is their anyway to get past these kind of cages?

I don't know of any scripts to block them, but in order to get away from them you have to teleport to a spot at least 97m away from it's sensor. Of course, it might have several sensor prims deployed in the area, so it's best to just tp to a new sim.

Annoying, but it works.

Another trick I have used to good effect in the combat sims is to put on my X-Flight carbon rod, which lets me fly really fast, and fly up. I can usually fly fast enough to "break out" of it, but I then slow down and let it chase me straight up. I fly up to about 800m, and it follows me. Then I just tp down and I am out of it's sensor range and it's stuck way up there, totally harmless.

Conversely.. if you have a non-physical vehicle, and can rez it.. hop on, and pilot yourself wherever you like. Of course the "trap" will follow you.. but you can mostly ignore most of those. Then you've got plenty of time to AR the person who caged you, get a linden to come in on the scene, etc.

If you own the land, it's a simple matter to return the prims... while you're banning the attacker..

Most of these cages expire after a time. and releporting works.. so if you've got that non-phys vehicle.. drive to the next sim, then TP back.
