ok. dispite being able to program a game.. i have NO clue how llHTTP works but i think it would be extremely valueable for me to learn .

what id like to know (and be willing to pay for)

is information of being able to search and store to a database on the web
keeping track of statistics or points

if someone can direct me to .. or show me an example of these scripting methods
i need to know how to

search for specific info on a website.. preferably a text file and bring it into world

and

be able to write back to that text file with updated info..

so storing a name on a line with a value or values next to it..

Kain Cleaver;1000;10

something like that..

i need to be able to search for the name.. and read from and write to that

thank you for info. if someone can successfully give me a working example ill gladly
pay them.

Try the lslwiki:

http://www.lslwiki.net/lslwiki/wakka.php?wakka=llHTTPRequest

They provide an example for connecting to a MySQL-DB, though - if it needs to be textfle you wanna add the data to, that's not that hard either...
