Help With Sit

I'm hoping someone can help me with sit scripts.

I've been putting animations and sit scripts into cushions and a merry-go-round, using a variety of sit script programs. My av is positioned correctly when I sit, but the camera is locked in, won't rotate with the arrow keys I have to click on the ground or a tree to rotate my camera.

I would appreciate any advice or a script that won't lock in my view. And I would REALLY like to know why this is happening. It even happens with poses I've made in qAvimator.

Thank you.

I don't see how it could be related to the pose. By any chance, does the sit script call llSetCameraAtOffset or llSetCameraEyeOffset ? (I think those persist in the prim once called, by the way.)

Here is a new one to try Learjeff's Easy Sit Target Positioner (FREE)

It has a neat rotation feature that you might like.

Don't know if it will fix your problem since I've haven't ran across it before.

Pretty sure you're right. If the script has had one in it, then you have to run a script that just sets all of the parameters back to 0.

Thanks for the replies.

Some of the sit scripts I've tried have statements about camera controls, and some don't.

I expect the problem is indeed one of previous settings persisting.

I'll make copies of the objects in question and use those.

Thanks for the help, and I will monitor here for additional posts.
