http://secondlife.com/badgeo/wakka.php?wakka=scriptingTeachersIn response to the frequent "I don't understand the wiki, the tutorials" etc. posts I figured a scripting teachers page might be useful. I admit to being biased, since I do teach scripting in world, but the chance to have a central resource like this seems like a smart idea to me. It won't be definitive, but please add yourself to the list if you do teach or will consider teaching in SL.

Here's a page with many more teachers; I believe you should add yourself to this one Eloise, and you don't have to make a new one. http://secondlife.com/badgeo/wakka.php?wakka=ScriptingMentorsEDIT: It seems you alredy added yourself to this one; but why exactly did you make another?

I think the suggestion is that a mentor (someone who responds to questions) is not necessarily the same as a teacher (someone who proactively runs lessons). But I'm not sure

10/10 for Yumi and a gold star!
Mentoring and teaching (at least to me - I do both for a RL living) are different things:
The mentoring page says it's people willing to offer guidance on a scripting and the example is rather specific - I've got a problem with listens, please can you help?
The idea of the teachers page is for people that run classes (at set times or whatever) so people can quickly and easily find someone to teach them how to script which is a very different time commitment.
I've added a link to the mentors page, and maybe a link back if you agree they're different enough is sensible so people can find it that way?
