XML-RPC Question

Hello all, I had a quick question reguarding a rpc script I am using.

Ok, say you have a central server sitting on a sim. The sim goes down. In the mean time messages are being sent to that server. While the sim is down, will that script loss all or any of the messages sent to it, or will the messges be queued up and then be able to process the commands once the sim is back online?

This might need a Linden response, but I'd guess they would time out. The sending program on the outside would probably block indefinitely unless some kind of timeout was employed.
