Is there an open JIRA that asks for some fixes to group performance and features?
Some of the key things that I think we should have is:
Group Role Filtering: Scripts should be able to identify and filter by Role
Multiple group Identification within a prim: A script should be able to check if a the person touching an object belongs to more than one group so that better permission filtering is possible. This could eliminate the need for many people to have to be members of a bunch of extra groups.
Multiple Group Access Controls for Parcels ( basically same as above but built in to the land tools not a script)
Does anybody have any info on this?

I know there's a feature request for role filtering, the rest I dunno, but looking up membership in other groups is considered a privacy issue by LL so won't likely show up in any form
