Is it possible to make a movie span multiple prims so it can be larger than 10x10 m? thanks,

Couldn't you texture it so that only a fraction appears on each prim?

You wouldn't have to do anything else. Is this not possible?

Right...I guess what I'm asking is how do I make a texture span all prims?

Edit-->Texture

You can then play with "Repeats Per Face" and "Offset" to create a multi-prim span of a single texture. However...the question is a building question, not a scripting question.

The synchronization issues on this are going to be a nightmare, and you can't do streaming movies like that at all.

For the most part, for most uses, you'll need to limit your animations to one prim.

You can do streaming movies like this, and with very good synch. I have a 3*3 24m wide TV set to prove it :p

Just make sure you are applying the movie to one face per prim, and not all faces (which is pointless in most situations).

You could use a megaprim.

After fooling around with the offset and repeats per face values I got everything to work just fine. Thanks!
