Hi. Im pretty new to coding and with SL down I wouldnt mine utilising the time where I dont get nagged by IM's to get some scripting done... but well.... With SL down I cant utilise the inbuilt compiler as a debugging tool... so I was wondering what offline compilers will do the job for me...

I wouldnt normally bother and just wait... but Im using menus, sub menu's and even more submenu's with what feels like a million If statements.

Also is there any other way test the script while SL is down?

Many thanks

Falney

Edit::

Duh -_- Im a nub..... its called the beta grid

For jsut compiling the code to get rid of most of the more gross errors I'd recommend you download lslint. You can't step through your code but it does give you confidence that its going to run in world.

For testing offline I usually use pen and paper (yep I'm old fashioned.)
