Are the newer versions of copybot unaffected by !quit...meaning has that "glitch" been fixed with them? And if so...are all the !quit messages now considered spam?

Been that way since a week after copybots first gained public attention, in my estimation.

In other words, !quit never did much of anything but annoy people.

!quit was never a glitch. It was a courtesy put in by the creators. But since the code was open sourced, it could easily be bypassed.

Like Anti said, those "counter measures" really never did much at all.

Well, it did make some people some money, selling anti-copybot devices that did nothing but annoy people.

*waves fist angrily at the memories*

*sigh*

Too much wrong, not enough right, too much stupidity.
