So some good news and some bad news.

Bad news is the the LSL wiki is going away in the very near future. We will leave it up in its temporary directory as long as people need it, but it will cease to be maintained or backed up or anything along those lines.

The good news however is that LL has been in the process of making an all inclusive SL Wiki, and they want all of the stuff that you guys have helped create since the birth of the wiki. <insert predictable borg quote> I have just passed off the database to my favorite employee at LL, and although their wiki will not be up tomorrow, it will be up in the immediate future.

What does this mean? Well the wiki is just being moved, and there is going to be some downtime between now and when it is up and fully operational. All changes made to it from here on out will not be saved, or atleast they won't be ported over to the new one.

Given all the interest we have seen in getting a static version of the wiki done, I am going to work on that this week, and then, with Jake Cellardoor's help, we will have a brand new chm file for you guys

OMG!! How will I continue my project in the days the Wiki is not up!!! Please LL, put the wiki up ASAP!

Marker: That's easy, just ask Live Help when you can't look it up on the Wiki.

seeing as the wiki has been broke off and on for several days now, I'd say this is a great time to fix it.

I'm all for it being moved in to LL space. It would make sence to join up av's with wiki accounts. It could even be sudo integrated with the forums (work it into the [ php ] tag so when you click a command it sends you to the commands documentation).

The only issue I see is that LL might not want to keep it being a wiki or restrict edit access to it. Just to show that it is possible to have a widely used wiki, take a look at www.mozilla.org it's *almost* a wiki (doesn't support a simplified markup language) most of the site can be edited, without logging in.

Hey Nada thanks for the update on what's going on!

I was actually finally going to sit down with the Wiki and update the LSL Bible :\ Oh well it figures lol I am going to redesign the machine itself to be a little more user-friendly, but as soon as the CHM comes out, I will update it and have it available for free for anyone who would like it.

Just so there's no confusion...this is an IN-WORLD machine that contains all information from the CHM with updates from the Wiki where applicable. The current version is way out of date, so please be patient. However if anyone would like to "preorder" it, just drop me a line and I'll be sure you get one the day it's done =D
