Ive seen several scripts, both free and not, that suggest that all you need to do is drop it in a textured prim, and it will get the texture aligned right. I know that no script can possibly make every texture application right, but I figure there has to be some formulas out there or something where I can get a wall made from multiple prims to tile right based on a calculation instead of spending hours adjusting settings till I randomly hit the right thing.
Any formula's you use to align & tile textures? or scripts?
Thanks

I make rough guesses then dial it in with tiny increments/decrements. Basically by eye. You get a feel for it after awhile.

You just need to get the repeats per meter correct...
if 1/meter repeat, then a 0.5 meter x 0.5 meter side should be .5 x .5 repeats on the script.
...then...aligning to be seamless has as much to do with the texture as it does the alignment (can't make a texture that isn't seamless be seamless). I'd say at that point, alignment is best done by hand.

Say im making a wall with a triangle on top of a square to form the main wall and a gable end for a roof using a parquie or planked texture and want the textures to line up so it looks like 1 piece.
