I've posted a message on the Group Forum for my property (The Spinning Invaders at The Mushroom Kingdom). I've become quite ambitious in my new property redesign, however I need the help of you ambitious LSL'ers.

Those who know me know that I'm not so good with LSL. While I love building and adore working with textures, LSL just makes my wittle brain hurt.

If you're a LSL coder who's interested in helping me with one or more of the issues I've outlined in the following thread....

/invalid_link.html

....then I'd really appreciate it. As the above thread states, I'm more than willing to pay L$ for some good scripting help. Thanks in advance; this is a great community!

I'd love to Help if you don't already have someone. I'd even consider doing it for free since I love the idea and would just love to help :).

I can help with parts of the clock bit. I might not know how to do the ball emitting part, but I can learn that. Send me an IM later.

I'd be happy to help out. I've been spending a lot of time making pointless little "toys" lately, so it would be nice to do some work on something a bit more useful for a change.

If you are lacking people to do elements, let me know. I sometimes need some lighter programming to distract me from more vigorous projects. :)

I've been overwhelmed by positive responses! I've also been writing down your names and will bug you all this weekend and see who wants to design what.

If you like, just select one "part" from The Spinning Invader forum message that you'd like to tackle and go to it! :) I'm working hard on all the assets and will soon have all my textures imported.

The SL community is so damned helpful. It's nice to know that LSL-deficient people like myself can still have interactive things on my property thanks to all your willingness to help.

Viva le Mario!

Help Needed: Koopa King
10-03-2004 23:51
Well, I've completed the prim and basic texturework for my Koopa King creation (see the attached picture). It is composed of the following elements:

Koopa King - 1 prim (with a 4 frame x 3 frame animation)
Platform - 1 prim (with a 2 frame x 2 frame animation)
Propellor - 1 prim (with a 2 frame x 2 frame animation)

What I'd like to do now is two things:

(1) Hover
Make the whole linked set hover gently up and down at a given location.

(2) "Smack" the Koopa
I have another 4 frame-by-3 frame animation texture for the Koopa King. What I'd like to do is somehow substitute the original texture for my alternate "dazed" Koopa King for a few seconds, then return to the original one.

Thanks in advance for all the help that's been offered to me. Whoever's interested is welcome to contact me and I can shoot you the creation to modify; and as stated before, just let me know what sort of compensation you'd like.

Clockface
10-03-2004 23:54
The other thing I'd like to tackle right now is the analog clock. At the moment, I'd just like to get a working analog clock on the face of my castle (see the attached picture to clearly see where it should be).

Please see the original thread in The Spinning Invader group forum for the specifics (linked at the top of this thread) of what I'd like the clock to do. Even a close approximation would be cool.

Thanks again.

I have a texture based analog clock code I'd be willing to pass along for the project. IM me.
