Input Completion

I'm not sure how to do this. I have looked at all the different ways to manipulate a string, looked at lists and am unsure of how they do "name completion" ie. for all names in a list, to pick/display the closest match.

If your talking about something like a shell file completion bit (type Secon<tab> and get Second Life.exe) it won't work since we don't have any way to control or capture the input directly. What could be possible is something "find Alo" and then it expands internally to Alondria LeFay. How that could be accomplished is to determine the length of the to be expanded word (i.e. Alo = 3) and then iterate through the list of possible outcomes, checking to see if any of them have "Alo" as the first 3 characters (via llGetSubString()). You would have to have something to solve which to use if there were multiple matches (perhaps a llDiaglog with the options that were potential matches).
