Posing an animation

Is it possible to pause whatever animation on an avatar and have it stand completely still until un-paused?

*edit* gee, i really wrote "pose" instead of pause. Shame on me.

As in, pause an animation sequence dead at a current frame?

That's a toughie. The only way I can think of to do that would be use of my BVH Importer, which really doesn't help you much/at all for direct avatar animations. Another "workaround" could be to constantly Start/Stop an animation sequence, but I'm not so sure what effect that would have in practice. :o

Yes, that's what I mean. Here is why:

I want to rotate attachements, but as far as I can see i must detach them first, so i want to pause everything, detach, rotate, attach, resume animation.
