I was trying to edit an object i was wearing that contains the franimation ao and accidentally chose the 'drop' option in the pie menu. The object dissapeared and is now in an "unknown animation state" and continuously telling me about it. I've tried the usual 'stop animations' things - both in the viewer and in objects people have scattered around the place - none work. How do I stop this script? And where did the object go (its not in inventory, or in trash).

I would guess it's still on the land where you dropped it. It is probably very small and invisible. Try hitting CTR-Alt-T and looking around for it... or if you own the parcel you can go to the objects tab in about land and highlight all your objects on the pracel.

it depends on the object, is it set to hide sometimes? it may have gone alpha when you dropped it. try highlighting transparencies (ctrl+alt+t). another thing you could try if you don't have alot of objects around...... open the edit window and drag a box around the general area where you think it is, it may select it

Also, if you have estate rights you can go to the main menu "Region..' dialog, then select debug/top scripts and filter the list to find the item. Use show on map/teleport and you should be right above the item.

Yes, it was transparent - and i tried clt-alt-t to see it. No joy.
I also tp'd on to another area/sim and the problem continues. The message makes sense - there is a place in the code to produce this message. So the code is with me somehow even though the object is not.
