Not with a script that I know of but...

You can select mouse moves sun...
then go into mouselook....
look straight down....
exit mouse look while still looking down...
viola, night!

Ferran, using that method, if you have scripts that look for "the edge of night" will they be triggered? Do you have a lamp that automatically turns on at night? Is this a valid test?

moving the sun only affects what you see. the "real" time doesn't change and everybody else sees how it is so it shouldn't make anything that looks at the sun position think it's night.

This is correct. Scripts that use the sun direction to determine night time will NOT work when moving the sun using the debug menu tools. A good way to test scripts of that nature is to find an island (private) sim that has night set all the time. For instance the Bedazzle Chinatown sim is always night time. This does trigger the sun direction scripts correctly.
