Is it just me, or are others getting a little tired of scripts advertising that they will work in no-script areas?
The point of no-script areas is that the landowner has chosen not to allow scripts to be used there. Bypassing that choice is not something that should be done casually. The existing "script-in-no-script" loophole is deliberately there for a very specific reason.
I'm just bothered that people who write scripts that keep to the rules on no-script may end up losing out, which ultimately means that ALL scripts will use the no-script loophole which will mean that it either has to be closed or no-script will become meaningless.

I normally don't override the no-scripts rules. 9 times out of 10, my unscripted items, not working in a no script zone, is fine.
JETPACKS on the other hand... trust me, if some noob lands their jetpack in your no-script store.. you WANT me to have overridden the script rules.. Otherwise they'll be wandering all around your store flaming and smoking and engine sounds roaring, and won't be able to turn it off.

It's very irresponsible to evade no-script except with good reason. Currently I have a couple of devices which leverage the no-script okay feature for informative purposes before going into an idle mode (checking now and then to see if scripts are running again). But I do want to, or advocate the use of this "cheat" so that devices will continue to function, especially laggy ones. I think you could probably abuse report particularly bad ones, i.e - ones that evade it for the sake of evading it. I just wish we had the ability to run some restricted scripts on the client-side so that we could keep some functions available without being a burden on the simulator. I made a JIRA for such a feature: http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-275
