I need a script to allow av's to pick up/hold one of my goblets and drink from it. Are there any available, I've seen others using them but won't pinch their scripts.

I don't think you can do the "pick up" part (but am willing to be corrected

)

The "hold and drink" part - what you need is a 'wearable' version of the goblet with built-in Run Time Permissions/Permission to Animate your Avatar functionality.

If you have ever been given one of the freebie coffees or other drinks is SL, the script inside it probably does exactly what you need (and they are effectively 'open source'). They usually use the default 'down the hatch' drink animation which is sufficient for most purposes.

If you find a script with all permissions, no name and no claims, is it not public then?
I have a script like that and it will fill your needs, but I will not publish it in this forum until I have some answers.

I have one too, with the sip animation and sip rest.

The "pick up" thing is more complicated because the object must be rezzed and owned for the agent. But it can be done.

llAttachToAvatar would be great for this but it only works on things you own..
