Can a Script create a notecard?

I have looked in the wiki, and can't seem to find whether or not this is supported. I find no reason for it not to be.

Am I missing something?

I am looking to have a script periodically create and update notecards, which are given to agents during a touch event.

No, a script cannot create or edit a notecard. Sorry.

And though you find no reason why this shouldn't be possible, there are a lot of technical reasons why it simply isn't possible.

The reason it isn't supported, LL are rightly cautious of giving us scripted access to things that make new assets - we've had patches of downtime in the last fortnight with asset server problems without adding that load to the rest...

I had a suggestion a little while ago on this front. No, I haven't posted an actual feature suggestion. I haven't even really looked at the whole voting section and such, actually. (I hope all you programmers out there realize that laziness is one of our major virtues. ) If someone wants to create a feature suggestion, give me offhand credit, and IM me in game so I can comment/vote, I wouldn't mind a bit. LOL.

Oh, or any feedback you might have here and now would be cool too.
