Completely stop all AV movement.

Is there a way to completely stop all Avatar movement, including head movement and the leaning movements that the avatar does when standing still?

I have already created a folded up animation, and use this animation to override the default animations, but the avatar still twitches, or leans to the side and looks around when it is standing still.

The best solution I know of is not scripting, but animation-related. If you do a 2-frame pose/animation, make sure that from the first to the second frame, EVERY body part is moved, at least slightly. If any joint is not changed, it will not override the default animations.

If you set the priority of the anim to a high number (when you upload it) then you don't have to move each piece... Been a long time for me since I've been in there, and even then I've only done about 20 poses.

Baron is 100% right -the prio does also matter but only in special cases. :)

There is no real default pose to SL. When uploading an animation SL takes the animation's first frame to be the default pose and checks the second frame for changes. Every body part that has changed between frames 1 and 2 will be affected by the pose, all parts that do not change will NOT be affected by the pose and SL will continue to animate them, NO matter the priority on upload.

Sometimes small changes seem to be ignored. So - the way I do it is like this:

I always do a static pose first - i.e. a simple 2 frame animation

1. When uploading the pose I set it to LOOP and play the loop
2. I then check the "Preview while walking" box
3. I then set the upload prio to 3

Now - whatever body part is *still* moving is NOT posed. This may be intentional or it may not be - this is for you to decide. If the movement is unwanted redo the pose by twisting or rotating the offending limb by a small amount and redo the preview until everything is perfect.

If you want the typing animation to be disabled without having to type "/0 some text" in chat then upload with prio 4.

Now that the static pose is OK I do the rest of the frames.
