moving_* events in a HUD

Not being able to get in-world to check right now, does anyone know if the moving_* events in a HUD suffer from the same issues as in other attachments? It'd be a lot cleaner if I could get this event to fire only when the avatar is moving, without running a timer all the time to check rotation.

Yep, it's flaky as hell in HUDs for the movements it's supposed to detect, and it doesn't really pick up on rotation-only changes.
