Check avatar name

Hello everyone,

I was wondering if there's a way to check an avatar's name, i.e. check if the name even exists. I don't have the avatars' keys, just their names. If I can check whether they exist or not, I can weed out the names that are spelled wrong. At the moment, I (manually) use the find functionality of SL to search for the people.

Does anyone know if this is at all possible?

I'm pretty sure there isn't, no. Keys are what you need. You can try to get names from keys to see if the key exists as an avatar, but not the other way round.
