Hello, I'm new to scripting and admittedly very challenged in this department. I am trying to make an instrument that will play a quick, pre-recorded phraze and will play the beginning of the sample again when touched...even if it is in the middle of playing the sound (think of Max Headroom talking or most hip hop samples).

I have a simple script playing a sound with llTriggerSound but it plays the sound over and over again, overlapping and making a ruckus! I want to be able to click on it and it will play the sound from the beginning even if it's not through playing the sound. I hope this makes sense AND is even possible in SL!

Thanks!

see llStopSound()

http://lslwiki.com/lslwiki/wakka.php?wakka=llStopsound

just add the line

llStopSound();

to use that you will need to change llTriggerSound() to the llStartSound() function
