Is there any way to chat on a channel other that 0? Either redirect that chat output or create an object that will "talk" for me?

for your AV to chat on another channel just preface the channel with a /
/1 on
/2 blue

says "on" on channel 1
says "blue" on channel 2

and for automation purposes you can put any number of these in a Gesture function as well

and a simple chat repeater would be:

CODE

default
{
state_entry(integer num)
{
llListen(1,"",llGetOwner(),"");
}

listen(integer chan, string name, key id, string message)
{
llSay(0,message);
}
}

you chat on 1 and it replies in normal chat.

hopefully that compiles, I"m still at work :)

You could put some script in a bracelet to listen to another channel and retransmit that on channel 0 as a whisper for you to hear.

I'd say llOwnerSay rather than whisper so no one else can hear it.
