I've heard it's not necessary to have a script in all linked prims to change their transparency but some 'child prim' command can be used in the root prim?
This is what I'm using now; llSetAlpha(1.0, ALL_SIDES)

http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/LlSetLinkAlpha
Function: llSetLinkAlpha( integer linknumber, float alpha, integer face ); You just need to use that function inside the root prim and tell it to change the alpha of the link number or LINK_SET or whatever. All other prims should be script free. |
