Group Owned Object

I don't really get how this option works. What i would like to do is: make an object (more than one prim most of the time and linked), make it group owned and sell its content.

From what i know that is when a group owned object is sold, its money goes into the "group accont" and it is divided up amongst the group members - which is exact what ideal in my case.

So here is what i got:
1) i've made the object, filled its content with the things i wanna sell.
2) Under the EDIT > GENERAL tag, i've set "Share with group" and "Deed".
3) Set the "For Sale with some amount of L$, and "Contents".
4) Next owner can only "Resell/Give away.

Then when someone else who is not in the group chooses the "buy" button from the object's pie menu, its content is empty (which supposes to have the content i want to sell in it). Thus this person can't confirm the purchase.

But when back to the object's owner's EDIT menu, it definitely shows that there ARE things in its content.

Can someone advise how does this happen? Do i have to write any script for it?

Appreicate any help

Check that the object wasnt no copy before it was deeded. The way permissions are handled means that no copy objects will be deleted when ownership is changed.

Thanks Newgate.

But now it's even worse, i can even choose the deed button, it somehow doesn't show up and allow me to click.

hmm... is there a more comprehensive way (or tutorial or help) to show one how to make an object into group, and can sell it for the group to share the price?

i've tried to look up the forum as well as the default SL help,... they don't seem to have something like that on. :(

I think you need also set a few things on the parcel setting.
Open 'About Land'.
Check the Allow Deed to Group checkbox.
Check the Owner Makes Contribution With Deed checkbox.
Then click the Deed... button.
