How do i show the owners account ballance

Hello,

i like to know how i can show the lindens the owner has, does someone know how to do it?

You want to be able to tell how much somebody else has in their account?

That's the same thing, actually...

If you can say "can that other person pay X?" you can easily figure out how much they have..

Can't do it.

You can track how much a person has paid to a box...
But you can't detect how much money they OWN.

Remember that money isn't really stored in a prim. So what happens is that the person can pay a box that you own.. and while the money will go directly to your pocket, the box can "keep track" of how mch it has been paid. You can then do some math to say, deduct 1 from that number per day.. and watch as that number gets smaller and smaller and eventually becomes 0 or negative. You could set it up so that they could get an IM when their balance gets lower than X.. or maybe an email, or both.. And then they could come and pay the box more money, and thus the script would add that number to their "balance".

ugh Don't try that btw, that is called a violation of the TOS.

It is possible...but it would require a complicated php/sql code that would basically derive the data from the official sl website. Again...it would be highly sensitive as it would require the avatars actual password.

So in most cases...no. And for good reason, LL has made it clear that they *never* plan to allow a script to allow to see how much money a person has for privacy and petty theft prevention purposes.
