I cant figure out a way to make this work.
I have prims linked together and need to make movement in just on of the linked prims. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Just in case someone comes across this problem in the future I solved it by turning on "Edit Linked Objects" and putting my movement script in just the one prim that I wanted to have move.
If I drop a movement script on the object (all the linked prims) they all moved as one unit.
And finally I had one prim with a control menu on it to control movement, and when an option was selected it would transmit back a LLMessageLinked command to the main object which had a movement script in it and would move all the prims at once. I did it this way so that you didn't get the menu by clicking anywhere on the object, just that one control prim.
Anyway, my L$0.02 for future reference. Hope it helps someone out later on,
