I have tried a few business ideas in the SL world. I owned a club which only tought me that bringing in lots of people with no payment info on file is a snap while catching the ones with payment is next to impossible. The next business idea was building furniture, fountains, showers, and anything else people wanted me to. I even managed to build a house that in my opinion was very well made. But, as with the club, it is very difficult to attract the right people. On top of that issue I do not have nearly as much time to spend on SL because my RL work schedule just shot up to 80+ hours a week and I am also going to school. So now I am in the hole well over $1000 and would like to make at least a portion of that back. The way that I have thought about to do this is to raffle off my land. I currently have a little over 8K square meters on the mainland. What I would like to do is sell tickets for $L500 a piece. That would enable someone that could not usually offord that much land to get it for a steal. But, I do not want to let the land go for $L1000. So, I want to make the raffle become a regular 50/50 if less than 200 tickets are sold. That is the hard part that I can not figure out how to get past. The other issue is the fact that both SL and SLX will no longer advertise gambling related items. Do any of you know how I could go about doing something like this while still keeping the raffle completly fair? I do not want to select the winner myself. That would just cause problems. I would like the winner to be pick automatically and randomly at a selected time. If any of you could help me with this it would be greatly appreciated. If you can't help me with this but would like to make an offer on my land I could be persuaded to let it go without a raffle. If you want to see the land you can do one of 2 things.
