Radar Script

Does anyone know if LL did something to the functions that make a radar script work. I have had the same script for almost a year. I placed it in my belly ring with the AO.

All of a sudden, I noticed the radar isn't working. The AO still does but, not radar function.

I know I am in a working scripts area so, it isn't that.

Any ideas? I have not taken the ring off yet to look at the script.

Just two little tidbits:

1) You can edit worn objects' scripts while still wearing them. Might save you some time taking off/putting on.

2) I know when 1.11 first came out there were some big problems with the sensor calls. Like when crossing borders and stuff. Also, I noticed that if I logged in wearing a sensor-based object, it had issues where I'd often have to "turn it off and back on" kinda deal.

However, unfortunately for this reply, I have not had issues since they addressed this issue in 1.11.1/2 or whatever. But I thought I'd give my 2 tenths of a Linden.

My experience (I sell a radar) is that _some_ scanners that were running in the bad time no longer work. The update has resolved the problem, but it has not un-stuck broken scanner instances in scripts.

The good news is that resetting the script, or recompiling it seems to clear it 100% of the time.

I also sell a radar. I've sold several either side of the update that broke them, and used mine across it with no bother.

It is worth trying the reset script option, cures 99% of all woes... well on a good day!

Thank you everyone. I got it working again. Marcus thank you so much for your tip on clicking while wearing. It was like DUH! I can't believe I didn't know that. Last time I took it off, I lost it on the floor and had to turn off the floor to find it.

Oh... in case someone wants to know what I did to get it working. After reading the script throughly and attempting reset, with out luck. I typed, “Scan on.”
